EQP Category Business Manager
 * Category strategic planning and merchandising
  • Drive category business growth and profitability thru strategic merchandising and pricing / sourcing
  • Build authenticity of Nike EQP products thru category marketing plan. Initiate category product marketing strategies and collaborate with EQP merchandising manager, and cross-functional team to implement
  • Balance productivity with product/channel segmentation
  • Ensure integration across BU¨s in key FOPs and key initiatives
  • Develop category BJ08 plan
 * Consumer and market insights
  • Possess expert understanding of the product, consumers and the market
  • Ensure price/value for local market
  • Conduct seasonal briefing process
  • Translate consumer insights into product briefs. Brings Chinese inspiration to the regional / global product engines
 * Communication
  • Ensure frequent and seamless communication with the regional / global product teams
  • Present category plans to cross-functional teams
  • Master GTM process
  • Collaborate with EQP merchandising manager on category marketing plans and sales tools
 * Coaching and team management
  • Lead, coach and develop category product team(s) with timely feedback
  • Champion CFE process


  4-year Degree (e.g. Bachelor Degree)
  Master / MBA Degree: Subject area: marketing or business management preferred
  Minimum 8 years of experience in a complex matrix environment preferred.
  Communication/Language: Fluent in Mandarin and English
  Management/Leadership (if applicable): team management experience
